Master Bedroom
The before pictures of our downstairs bedroom illustrate the original "shabby chic" design - distressed paint, antique ceiling fan, NYC loft style exposed ductwork...  But this didn't fit into our design scheme, AND we needed to move into the house. 

So phase one took the "use what you have" approach to give us a calm clean place in the house to close the doors and hide from the construction mess.

Phase two didn't happen until three years later, when we could take the time to work on some of the details like adding sconce lighting, making all the trim match, and closing in the air duct with beaded board and accent lighting.

The stars on the ceiling provide us with OUR version of camping.
